Bonjour EATLALY !
(see my previous post about Eataly)
Today, I had lunch on the rooftop of the Eataly building, the well hidden 14th floor, BIRRERIA.
Although the service was a bit unorganized, which is not usual, the food was on point, as always! 1st came the 7 cheeses plate with honey and roasted hazelnuts, as well as a good half litre of Extra Virgin Olive Oil…one of the tastiest ever! The bread they serve is so amazing that I kept ordering more and more…so much that come the entree, I was already full.
My party and I (total of 3 French girls) had PORTOBELLO alla Griglia, SHIITAKE FRITTI Con Salvia as well as the Sautéed Calamari Special. We also treated ourselves to OLIVE OIL SMASHED POTATOES and Roasted MIXED BABY CARROTS sautéed in … guess what… Olive Oil, of course!
We picked at each others’ plates and shared it all! People that do not like to share their food and pick about in others’ plates are just weird to me, it’s like people who don’t like ice cream or puppies … WHY?!?
Another Amazing moment in Eataly at Birreira! I will be back very soon… I need to try the Charcuterie Platters next!
Keep sippin on Olive Oil!
P.S.: The last picture is my order of Sweet Milk Ice Cream that you can get on your way out next to Lavazza cafe! #JUSTSAYIN
