Clem Eats: LE PARK – Highline

Past Summer was the time for Amazing discoveries in the City ! The Park was one of them. It’s one of those places that hides something from the outside looking in. Actually The Park hides a total of 5 different places with very diverse feels.

I was sitting in the Garden since the weather permitted it but I cannot wait to go back and try the Penthouse or the Atrium. Right by the High Line on the West Side, it also makes the perfect venue for any Winter parties !

First the Fresh Mint Lemonade was the best thing I ever tasted on a warm afternoon. The food was very tasty starting with my classic Fried Calamari. Those are a staple and are still on the Winter menu. The spicy aioli was yummy and the calamari very crispy.

The crabcakes were small (3 fallafel bite size) but fresh and creamy. The salad was pretty good, but really… no one beats me on Watermelon salad. I did like the fennel in it which gives a cool south of France Anis flavor.

The Salmon was delish. Perfectly cooked. The mix of beans and corn topped with fresh herbs at the bottom was creamy and absolutely delightful.

I am ready to go try the Yummy dinner menu any time soon… Who’s in ? !

Go check out the menus here :

Bon Appetit …

Xoxo, Clem
