Clem Eats : Chalk Point Kitchen

Bonjour les Gourmands,

When I am really hungry, well, I post about Food… A couple weeks ago, I took The Girlz to Chalk Point Kitchen.

This spot nestled between Soho and West Village is a comfortable place to get a break away from The City while being in the Heart of it. A beautiful place imagined and designed by Chien Dao, also genius mind behind the MoMa Curator Loft and Crown. The great Michelin Star Executive Chef Joe Isidori is in the kitchen rocking it and bringing us some Locally-Sourced-World-Fusion food along with a dope team coming from Blue Hill, Sons of Essex or The Dutch !

The Ambiance and Front of the House is on point ! When we called, we were told we couldn’t Brunch before 330pm without a reservation. We decided to still go for it and give it a try. We were asked to wait about 20 mns only while enjoying a delicious hand-made artisanal drink downstairs at @HandyBar ~ Check mine out !

The service is charming, knowledgeable and passionate about the Food. It definitely made us order more than expected ! (Did I tell you about the Bloody Mary … OMG)

Starter – Smashed Avocados on Toasts – $6 – Simple. Fresh. 3 pieces, perfect to start a 3 girl’s feast!

Mains – Creamy Hand Made Burrata – $15 – Served with fried eggs for a perfect brunch. Light and simply tasty / Oven Baked Upstate Zucchini and Burrata Sandwich – $14 – Interesting mix of texture / The Classic with Virginia Ham – $12 – Abundance of sauce on runny eggs surrounded by some of the best Ham I had.

Dessert – Banana Croissant French Toast – $11 – We regret we do not have any picture for that … verdict ? Perfect ending to a Love Story !

My time at Chalk Point Kitchen was one of the best #Brunch experience I have had in The City … Handy Bar is just as worthy of a stop as Chalk is. This is the perfect combo… And we will be back, for every single menu …

Bon Appetit

XOXO Clem
