Meet Jackie from Jackie Illustrated.
I am very happy and very excited to know people can now see my work. I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember, and it was always my romantic ideal of my future career.

BonjourClem: Who are you ?
Jackie Illustrated: My name is Jackie, I’m a Brazilian girl now living in Germany. I’m studying design since 2009 but after two years of Product Design, I got interested in another course of study, and started all over again. I am also an illustrator and animal lover, that stalks people walking dogs until they let me pet them, or try to befriend stray cats.
BC: What makes you proud ?
JI: I am proud of being a feminist, and of not fearing big projects, challenges or changes. I try to work hard, be nice to people and be grateful for the opportunities I’ve got.

BC: What’s the thing you Love the most about being You ?
JI: I love that I tend to avoid crowds and big parties, I like to stay in small groups. For me it’s a healthier lifestyle than being a party person. If I’m out with friends, I’m always the sober person in the group, and it’s also funny, because I’m the one who remembers everything.
BC: Who’s your Woman inspiration ?Why ?
JI: My woman inspiration would be Jenna Lyons and Emma Watson. Jenna, because she had her problems with self-esteem when she was younger, and she proved everyone wrong by becoming one of the most powerful woman in fashion and in business. Emma, because she had the chance to simply live a selfish party-n-shopping life, but she chose to fight for women’s rights instead.

BC: What makes you happy ?
JI: A big cup of tea, fresh flowers in the office, painting with watercolor, having time to organize my flat and go swimming laps. On top of all that, good books that are well designed also makes me happy, I hate when great content is presented badly.
