Bonjour Les Beautees 😉

I got intoduced to the brand Carol’s Daughter by mon Cheri. Oui, men also have awesome tips and tricks for your beauty. It was the first weekend he stayed with me. He took a look at my beauty products and … he didn’t really find any. Cheri wanted the best for me so he took me shopping. First stop : Carol’s Daughter at Atlantic-Barclay Center (Find the one closest to you).

I get in… and I already want to try everything. The sweet colors and yummy names totally wake up the Foodie inside me; “Can we eat it ?” I asked. Macadamia, Almond Cookie (my fave), Monoi, Vanilla, Orange and Ecxtasy… The smell of every single one feels like it just came out of Mum’s kitchen. And maybe it did.

Lisa Price, who actually IS Carol’s Daughter, started almost 20 years ago by making body butter in her kitchen and selling to friends on The Cosby Show set (where she was working at) and at the flea markets. Because of the high demand she quickly had to learn how to make an extensive variety of skin & hair products. She got important investors (Will and Jada Smith, Jay-Z, and Mary J Blige amongst others) who helped her develop and grow a very successfull business. Some of the brand’s spokeswomen are Solange Knowles, Cassie and Mary J BligeCarol’s Daughter just launched a line in exclusivity with TARGET (products online now)!

The best thing about Carol’s Daughter? Men and Women alike use those products. The options are so wide, it’s awesome whatever your hairtype is and transforms your hair to be stronger and healthier. All the Hair Stylists I worked with since I started using the products noticed how strong and shiny my hair was! They have very natural and super yummy products for a very worthy price. I usually find my TUI shampoo and conditioner for $25 all together. For softer than soft hands I use the Almond cookie hand cream that costs an average of $10. Mmmmm!

Merci Carol!
